Environmental Engineering

There is huge opportunity in the domain of environmental engineering as so little is being done in the country. There are all kinds of problems – solid waste disposal, sewerage treatment, hospital waste management, industrial effluents, air pollution and so on. With access to human resources and analytical labs at Institute of Environmental Sciences and Engineering NC expects to work on significant projects. The first project it is pursuing is Hospital Waste Management where a regional solution is being put together for disposing off infectious waste collected from healthcare facilities located in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
